I am a vibrant and dedicated wine professional with a growing international profile, a deep-rooted passion for people, sustainability, and the natural world. I am a proudly South African currently completing my WSET Level 3 certification, having already earned my WSET Level 1 and 2 qualifications, and recently obtained a Wine Consultant and Sommelier Diploma with Honours from CAFA Formations in Bordeaux, France.
My hands-on experience includes an internship as a cellar hand at the prestigious Château Smith Haut Lafitte, where I deepened my knowledge of viticulture and the winemaking process in one of Bordeaux’s premier estates. I bring not only technical wine knowledge but also a strategic mindset and exceptional communication skills, shaped by academic achievement and real-world leadership. After coming back from France, I completed an internship as a cellar hand at Hidden Valley wines based in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
I am a natural connector — as highlighted by my Clifton Strengths (Includer, WOO, Communication, Strategic, Responsibility) — and thrive in environments where human interaction, authenticity, and shared purpose are valued. My educational journey includes the Young Minds Programme at the Stellenbosch Executive Business School, where I further developed entrepreneurial thinking and leadership skills.
With an eye on making a meaningful impact in the wine and hospitality industry, I aspire to fuse my love for wine, sustainability, and storytelling to create unforgettable experiences and drive positive change, one glass at a time.
I am proactive in seeking out opportunities that stretch me personally and professionally. Please contact me if there is any opportunity available.
