Our client, operating in the wine industry and situated in Stellenbosch, currently has the abovementioned position available for a proactive, reliable, client-orientated individual with strong numerical, and administrative skills, that can work accurately under pressure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties: *day to day bookkeeping *drafting of books up to trial-balance *debtors and creditors (account reconciliations, statements, etc.) *bank reconciliation *invoicing *petty cash management *handling sales and orders (walk-in clients and via email) *liaising with suppliers and placing orders *management of stock levels and stock purchases *recordkeeping *answering of telephone *all general and administrative duties related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
- Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;
- Approximately 3 years’ experience in a similar position;
- Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Office and Pastel are required);
- Own reliable transport.
Commencement date: As soon as possible.
