Our client, a popular wine destination based in the Bottelary Valley, is looking to appoint a marketing manager that will lead and execute all aspects of the brand strategy.
This role is responsible for ensuring brand consistency across every customer touchpoint, with a strong focus on direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels.
Key areas of responsibility include execution via website, social media, email newsletters, wine club, loyalty programs, online sales, events, and tasting room experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the wine industry and demonstrate exceptional expertise in DTC marketing, with a proven ability to drive engagement, retention, and revenue across both digital and in-person channels.
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
- Brand ownership and positioning
- Create, manage & evaluate tasting room offerings
- Revenue from DTC channels - Online sales, wine club sales, tasting room sales, event sales
- Budget management
- Agency / sub-contractor management
Requirements:
- BCom Marketing Management or similar
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Wine related industry experience
- Creative, attention to detail, resourceful, digitally savvy, confident
