An exciting new position is available for a receptionist/administrator at a prestigious winery at the foot of the Helderberg. The position is responsible for the first line of telephonic contact for clients and to provide administrative support to the operations of the business. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in the duties outlined below. Prior work experience at a winery will be advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operates the switchboard
  • Responds to general correspondence and ensures the correct person is contacted regarding the contact/query.
  • Assists management team with Purchase Orders, service appointments, and scheduling of meetings
  • Provides general PA support to management staff
  • Monitors stock and places orders for all office goods
  • Human Resources assistance
  • Collates leave forms for approval and emails to HR once approved
  • Gathers all expenses and deductions and prepares input sheet for payroll
  • Manages personnel files of non-managerial staff
  • Acts as travel coordinator for the office by arranging flights, car rental and accommodation
  • Provides administrative IT support by:
  • Arranging call-outs for IT support
  • Arranging quotes for IT equipment
  • Takes minutes and farm workers meeting (if needed)
  • Any other Ad Hoc duties as required from time to time

Desired Experience & Qualification

At least 5 years of experience in a receptionist role
Matric

Own Transport and valid driver’s license is essential.
