We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Assistant to support our marketing initiatives, grow our Wine Club, assist in digital and in-store campaigns, and ensure excellence across all touchpoints—from client engagement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about wine, design, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Campaign Support

  • Assist in the implementation and tracking of marketing campaigns (digital & traditional)
  • Conduct market research and analyse consumer trends.
  • Support marketing executives with strategy development.
  • Organise promotional events and attend to ensure success.
  • Collect audience feedback and update campaign reports and databases
  • Manage design requests and oversee the creation of marketing materials.
  • Source quotes and coordinate suppliers when needed.
  • Liaise with bloggers, influencers, and media to increase brand visibility.
  • Assist with writing marketing content (brochures, newsletters, press releases)
  • Document and report on social media engagement via Excel.
  • Update and maintain the marketing folder and ensure all assets are filed on OneDrive.

Wine Club & E-Commerce

  • Assist with the growth and engagement of Wine Club members.
  • Process online orders and invoices, coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Promote benefits and handle client communication.
  • Support in maintaining customer databases and online sales reports.
  • Ensure E-Commerce listings are accurate and up to date.
  • Provide excellent client service through all platforms.

Instore Tastings & Events

  • Schedule, manage and facilitate in-store wine tastings.
  • Support the setup, running, and closing of marketing events.
  • Communicate directly with clients and foster lasting relationships.

Gallery & Boutique (Thursdays and on Saturdays as required by the Gallery Curator)

  • Ensure smooth daily operations of Gallery and Boutique.
  • Maintain pristine storerooms and handle public/professional enquiries.
  • Promote exhibitions and update online listing platforms (e.g., TripAdvisor)
  • Assist in exhibition planning and openings.
  • Maintain and update Gallery mailing lists.

Digital Marketing & Online Presence

  • Manage and update restaurant and tasting room listings (TripAdvisor, Dineplan)
  • Respond to online reviews professionally and promptly.
  • Coordinate seasonal campaigns and promotions with media partners.

Additional Information

  • Working hours include being based in the Gallery and Boutique on Thursdays. (Gallery/Boutique responsibilities)
  • This role reports to the Marketing Manager
  • A background in wine and hospitality is beneficial but not essential
  • Driver’s License is a requirement for this role.
