My name is Giovanni, and I’m a young and passionate aspiring winemaker from Italy, currently looking for a hands-on internship opportunity in South Africa for the 2026 grape harvest. I'm especially interested in working in the cellar, closely following the vinification process, but I’m also keen to gain experience in the vineyards, understanding the journey of the grape from vine to bottle.

I hold a valid driver’s license, and I’m certified to operate both forklifts and tractors—skills that I know are often essential during the busy harvest period. I’m practical, physically fit, and not afraid of long hours or hard work. What drives me most is the chance to learn, contribute, and be fully immersed in the rhythm of harvest life.

While I’ve selected Stellenbosch as my preferred region for the purposes of this listing, I’m completely open to opportunities in any South African wine region. My priority is to gain experience in a high-quality, hands-on environment—wherever that may be.

Ideally, I’m looking to join a winery that is open to international interns, and that could provide accommodation during the internship. A stipend or reimbursement to help cover basic living expenses would be greatly appreciated, though my main goal is to grow and learn in the field I love.

If you're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hard-working intern for the 2026 harvest, I’d be thrilled to hear from you.

Thank you for considering my application.
