Harvest Intern for 2026 at Eikendal Vineyards

Eikendal Vineyards, between Stellenbosch and Somerset West on the R44, is looking for a motivated, energetic and hands on harvest intern to be part of the 2026 harvest team. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of production including but not limited to:

• Grape intake
• Punch downs and pump overs
• Cellar hygiene
• Sampling of wine grapes
• Barrel Work
• Balings and Temperatures
• Data capturing

Requirements:

• Valid SA ID or Valid International work permit
• Be able to do physically demanding work
• Previous harvest experience
• Good communication
• Must be able to work under pressure

This position requires working long hours and weekends.

Contract period of employment:

Middle January – End of April (depending on the timing of the harvest season)
