Chamonix Wine Farm, situated high above the Franschhoek Valley, is looking for two self-motivated, energetic, hands-on and good work-spirit Harvest Interns from January – May 2026 with the option of housing that will be provided. The successful candidates will report directly to the winemaking team.

Key responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

  • Wine and must additions;
  • Fermentation control;
  • Racking of wine;
  • Pressing;
  • Barrel Work;
  • Grape data collection and intake;
  • Yeast Preparation;
  • Cellar Hygiene

Skills and competencies

  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Physically capable of completing tasks;
  • Working as a team;
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment;
  • Following instructions accurately;
  • Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills;
  • Productivity & Efficiency;
  • Self-disciplined.

Requirements:

  • Viticulture & Oenology degree/diploma;
  • Driver’s lisence & own transport
  • Working overtime during harvest when required
  • Previous cellar experiences
