Internship Overview
We are looking for a motivated Harvest Intern to join our winemaking team from January to April 2026. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of winemaking during the busy harvest period.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all winemaking activities throughout the harvest.
- Perform daily cellar duties, including cleaning, equipment maintenance, and managing wine stocks.
- Take accurate grape samples and support lab analysis to maintain wine quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with cellar team and management to ensure smooth winemaking operations.
- Support administrative tasks related to harvest activities.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems to keep production on schedule.
What You’ll Experience
Under the guidance of our experienced winemaking team, you will be involved in:
- Grape sampling and analysis
- Pressing and extraction processes
- Cleaning tanks, barrels, and cellar equipment
- Rackings and wine transfers
- Additions and yeast inoculations
- Monitoring fermentations and performing pump-overs
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong record-keeping and reporting skills
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends during harvest
- Preference will be given to South African applicants
