PB Liquor Merchants has an exciting opportunity available for an independent, results-driven individual with a proven track record in meeting customer growth and product sales targets, to join their growing team based in the Southern Cape.
The successful candidate has excellent organisational and communication skills, and will be responsible for promoting liquor products with customers and supporting the supply and distribution of products.
Responsibilities will include: *Market development *Planning sales calls, routes and servicing cycles *Promoting products & delivering exceptional customer service *Monitoring & analysing sales performance across customers, categories, and products *Reporting on results (campaigns, incentive programmes and sales performance) *Collaborating with warehouse buyers to monitor and control stock levels *Providing input to problem solving in the supply and distribution chain *all other duties related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
- Matric;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales in the FMCG industry (including stock planning);
- Excellent reporting skills and computer literacy (MS Office);
- Drivers license and own reliable transport;
- Willingness to work flexible working hours;
- Willingness to travel and work overtime and some weekends (festivals, etc.).
Advantageous:
- Experience in wine/liquor sales in the On and/or Off consumption market;
- Knowledge of wine, beer and spirits categories and consumption preferences.
