We are urgently seeking an experienced and service-driven Reservations Manager to lead the Reservations Department of a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel. This is a remarkable opportunity for a dynamic individual with a passion for luxury hospitality and a proven track record in managing reservations at high-end properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the reservations process, ensuring a seamless guest journey from inquiry to confirmation.

Lead, train, and motivate the reservations team to achieve excellence.

Maximize room revenue through strategic inventory management and collaboration with Sales and external partners.

Ensure accurate data management, reporting, and system maintenance (Protel Air or similar).

Deliver exceptional guest service, handling VIP bookings and special requests with professionalism.

Manage all incoming communication (emails, phone calls, messages) ensuring guests receive world-class service.

Collaborate with other Heads of Departments, attend meetings, and provide reporting as required.
Requirements:

Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification.

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Reservations Manager.

Experience in luxury/5-star hospitality is highly advantageous.

Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.

Knowledge of revenue management principles and hotel booking systems.

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

Proficient in MS Office and Excel.

Guest-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
