Control Room Operator

 A Wine Farm in the Franschhoek area, seeks to employ a Control Room Operator. We are looking to employ an honest, hardworking and dependable candidate in the abovementioned position.

 Duties include:

• Monitor cameras (CCTV), alarms, alarm triggers, computers, telephones.
• Updating telephone register, occurrence book, incident management system.
• Key control
• Document records and incidents.
• Manage security guards - guarding, posts, patrol routes.
• Be able to display a pro-active mind set within the control room.
• Take control of a situation and feedback.

 Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (a third language will be an advantage)
• Grade A PSIRA will be an advantage
• 3 years experience in a Security Control Room
• Must have own transport
• Excellent communication skills
• Have completed control room training.
• Self posting
