Join Thelema Mountain Vineyards for the 2026 harvest and get hands-on experience in premium wine production. This is real cellar work: grapes, fermentation, barrels, tasting, and all the moving parts that make great wine.
Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape
Duration: January – April 2026 (flexible, depending on harvest)
Salary: Experience-based
What You’ll Do

Pick, sort, and check grapes

Manage fermentation: cap work, temperature, inoculation

Handle daily cellar tasks: racking, pressing, pump-overs, barrels

Track fermentations and basic analysis (Brix, temps, tasting)

Keep equipment clean and cellar tidy
Who We’re Looking For

South African ID holders or students in a relevant degree (legally allowed to work)

Serious about learning winemaking

Physically fit and able to work long hours

Good team player, reliable, and hands-on
-
Harvest/cellar experience is a plus but not required
