The key role of the Biospecialist is to influence and market biological solutions by providing exceptional technical support to distribution partners and growers in the field.
Expert crop, root, pest and disease knowledge is essential for IPM integration.
Key competencies required:
- BSc Agricultural Degree with majors in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Microbiology and or Soil Science.
- Croplife SA certification on the Basic Crop Protection Course.
- Minimum 5 years technical marketing and sales experience in the South African agricultural industry.
- Exceptional ability to influence and lead change in existing Integrated Crop Management programs.
- Experience with biological solutions is an advantage.
- Performance driven and influential with a culture of self-discipline, integrity and excellence.
- Due to client profile, excellent proficiency in Afrikaans required.
