My Client is seeking an energetic, performance driven individual to join their  team as a Commercial Trialist to manage and conduct comparative agricultural field trials, ensuring the commercial viability and integrity of their biorational solutions.

Opportunity for a recent graduate to gain experience in Biorational Crop Protection and Biostimulants industry. The ideal candidate will need to be a structured, self-disciplined individual with strong analytical, reporting, time management and communication skills. The candidate will gain first hand and infield experience regarding product performance and value adding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Biospecialists, agents and farmers to identify specific pest and disease needs or challenges.
  • Conduct and manage commercial trials for new and existing biorational solutions.
  • Plan, record, collect and analyse commercial trial data.
  • Prepare reports and present ROI (return on investment) results on the individual trials for marketing communication.
  • Educate and empower stakeholders on the responsible use of our product solutions.
  • Travel to various crop growing regions with stay over required.

Key Competencies Required:

  • Due to client profile, excellent proficiency in Afrikaans is required.
  • Minimun BSc Agric with majors in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Microbiology and or Soil Science.
  • CropLife SA certification on the Basic Crop Protection Course.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Crop experience will be an advantage.
  •  Technical marketing and sales experience will be an advantage for future promotions.
