Enthusiastic gardener sought at Haute Cabriere

Haute Cabriere is seeking an enthusiastic gardener.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that the company's gardens are maintained at high quality standard
• Priority is top farm at the restaurant area
• Weeding of garden beds - both top and bottom farms
• Ensure main entrance at top farm is swept each morning
• Check garden beds at entrance of restaurant for any leaves and / or rubble
• Ensure plants are watered regularly and roses are sprayed every second week in summer
• Dead=head plants in beddings
• Ensure plants are regularly trimmed
• Apply fertiliser to plants to ensure they are healthy. In winter prune roses and fertilise
• General maintenance to always ensure tidy gardens

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Minimum Grade 10
• At least 2 years’ experience in gardening
• Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
• Knowledge of plants, irrigation and maintenance of plants
