Marianne Wine Estate has a Harvest Cellar hand position available for the 2025 harvest.
We are a French owned boutique winery just outside of Stellenbosch, on the foothills of the Simonsberg. We strive to produce elegant, French style wines from this beautiful South African terroir. We are a young dynamic small team that enjoys hard work, precision and good humour.
The position offers a hands-on experience of ALL the processes involved in winemaking during the harvest time. From grape reception, controlling fermentations, additions, pump-overs, punch downs, maintaining cellar hygiene, digging out/pressing of red wine tanks, barrel filling, etc.
Duration: 3 months
The ideal candidate should be capable of strong physical work, willing to work long hours (including weekends), enjoy working in a team and have a good sense of humour.
