Farm Manager

Our client, a prestigious wine estate based in Stellenbosch, is seeking a driven individual to oversee the estate’s full agricultural operations from both a technical and strategic perspective.

The successful candidate is an excellent team leader with strong problem-solving skills who takes initiative with a long-term focus.

Duties will include (but will not be limited to): *Managing daily vineyard operations and seasonal tasks *Implementing regenerative practices like composting and cover cropping *Leading farm staff and contractors *Aligning vineyard work with winemaking goals *Monitoring performance through data collection and adjusting strategies accordingly *Driving sustainability and biodiversity efforts *General management of all gardens *All other tasks related to this role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Matric. A relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture, or a related field will be beneficial;
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Experience with gardening would be advantageous;
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English).
