Waiters (Fixed Term Contract) – Luxury Wine Estate | Stellenbosch

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiters to join a prestigious luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidates will provide exceptional service to ensure an outstanding guest experience.

Main Responsibilities:

Greet guests at assigned tables and ensure each guest has received a menu and wine list

Know all items on the menu, including basic ingredients and methods of preparation

Ensure tables are set with linens, silverware, and glasses

Take accurate food and drinks orders using the Point-of-Sale system and deliver within specified time limits

Ensure all orders are received promptly by bar and kitchen staff

Clear dirty cutlery and crockery from tables once guests have finished

Offer desserts and coffee to guests

Bill guests correctly

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant area, fixtures, and fittings

Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance

Ensure uniform is clean and in good condition

Main Requirements:

Grade 12

Preferably 1-year previous waiter/waitress experience

Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system

Basic math skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong customer service orientation and attentive listening skills

Comfortable interacting with distinguished clientele

Well-presented, enthusiastic, and professional

Flexibility and accountability

Own reliable transport
