Topiary is a family size winery with less than 10 employees. Since 2 years, the farm took a different way of farming: stopping herbicides for manual and mechanical works and starting a more regenerative and eco-friendly agriculture. On the 17ha of vines, we grow both whites and red varieties: shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay.
We re looking for the right person to complete our team - Position available 1st December
You will participate in all aspect of work (include but not limited) :
- Vineyard
Participate to shoots selection, trellising, pruning
Could be led to use tractor for basic work as mowing
Disease surveillance (mildew, Esca, ants …)
- Cellar
Assisting to prepare wine before bottling
Bottling and preparation of orders
Assisting with stock control
All activities related to harvest – berries samples, quality control, pumping over, cleaning…
Ideal application :
Ability to work long hours when needed (harvest)
Physically strong and healthy
Ability to work under pressure
Willingness to learn in a small estate
Good mentality and motivation will make the difference
Must have driving license
Degree in viticulture / oenology
No accommodation on site
