Our esteemed client, situated in the Franschhoek region, is known to be one of the oldest yet most characteristic farms in the Cape.

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Financial Accountant to join their Finance team.

Job Overview:

As Accountant, you will work closely with the financial manager to support the financial health of the organisation. You will strategize, maintain detailed business records and prepare for audits. Additionally, you will ensure the entities remain compliant with current laws, regulations and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• B.Com, Finance / Formal Financial Qualification

• Previous experience in the agricultural field will be beneficial

• 3 – 5 years in a similar position

• Solid understanding of IFRS

• Experience in Sage Intacct will be an advantage

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Good organisational and time management skills

• An aptitude for problem solving

Key Responsibilities:

• Debtors

• Creditors

• Bank processing and reconciliations

• Handling of petty cash

• Stock

Applicants to reside in the local vicinity of the Winelands Region.
