Tasting Room Floor Manager

Exciting opportunity for a Tasting Room Floor Manager at Waterford Estate - Stellenbosch

• Manage and oversee the experiences offered at Waterford Estate.
• Present wine tastings and engage with customers as required.
• Assist staff with daily sales and customer service.

• Supervise day-to-day operations and responsibilities of staff members.
• Support the training and development of new and existing staff.

• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the tasting room.
• Support the management and operations of the restaurant.

• Aid in cash handling, cash-ups, and processing of wages.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to financial transactions and record-keeping.

• Help manage stock levels and inventory control.
• Support invoicing processes for stock items.
• Assist with the ordering and replenishment of stock.

• Handle booking inquiries and reservations via phone and email.

• Strong administrative skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the wine industry.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is preferred.
