Marklew Family Wines, a family-owned boutique winery in the Simonsberg Stellenbosch area, is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team for the 2026 harvest season.
This is a seasonal position running from late January to early April 2026 (depending on the harvest), and requires full commitment for the duration.
What the role involves:
Assisting with grape harvesting activities.
Helping in the cellar with daily setups, cleaning of equipment, pressing, and receiving grapes.
Supporting vineyard work on days when the cellar is not operating (including assisting with picking for external clients).
Being directly involved in many aspects of small-scale winemaking — a great hands-on learning opportunity.
What we’re looking for:
No formal qualifications required – just a strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
Someone dependable and ready to take initiative.
A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport to and from the winery.
Ability to commit for the entire harvest period.
