We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented cleaning assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our wine tasting areas, offices, and kitchen facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming, safe and professional environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Washing dishes, glassware, and utensils used in wine tastings
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment and work areas
- Maintaining cleanliness of tasting rooms, offices, bathrooms and common areas
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste removal
- Restocking cleaning supplies and reporting low stock
- Following health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Supporting staff with general cleaning duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning or scullery experience preferred but not essential
- Must be able to safely operate cleaning equipment, including commercial dishwashers and floor polishing machines.
- Strong attention to detail and good time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
