We are looking for an experienced and responsible Tractor Driver to join our vineyard team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating tractors and spray equipment and other general duties, with a strong focus on the safe handling and application of agricultural chemicals used in vineyard operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating tractors in vineyard environments
- Mixing, handling, and applying chemicals and pesticides safely and accurately
- Ensuring compliance with agricultural, environmental and safety regulations
- Performing daily machinery checks and basic maintenance
- Keeping accurate spray and application records
- Supporting general vineyard operations as required
Requirements:
- Proven tractor driving experience in a vineyard or agricultural setting – at least 2 years’ experience (a valid tractor operator certification would be beneficial)
- Knowledge and experience in chemical spraying and pesticide use is essential
- Valid chemical spraying / pesticide certification (required)
- Strong understanding of health and safety and environmental procedures
- Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Physically fit
- Reliable, punctual, with strong time-management skills
