We’re looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Wine Sales Ambassador to represent our brand in the Western Cape, driving growth and visibility across both on-trade and off-trade channels.
This role suits someone proactive and relationship-driven, with a passion for wine and a strong ability to grow accounts and represent our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities:
· Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic planning and consistent client engagement.
· Represent the brand across all trade channels, including restaurants, retail stores, wine boutiques, and lifestyle venues.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners by offering tailored product solutions, excellent service, and regular check-ins.
· Grow the customer base by identifying and securing new clients aligned with our brand.
· Work with marketing and management to execute tastings, promotions, and activations.
· Maintain high product knowledge and educate trade partners through storytelling and regular training.
· Track market trends and competitor activity, and report back to inform sales strategy.
· Keep records up to date, including customer info, pricing, and sales activity.
· Coordinate stock for promotions and ensure smooth delivery by working closely with logistics.
· Share trade feedback to support product development and marketing refinement.
· Uphold the brand’s reputation in all customer interactions.
Skills & Requirements:
· 2–3 years' experience in wine or premium beverage sales.
· Good understanding of the Western Cape trade landscape, including key restaurant and retail groups.
· Proven ability to open new accounts and build long-term business relationships.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Wine knowledge preferred.
· Strong planning and reporting abilities; familiar with CRM tools or Excel-based tracking.
· Self-motivated, target-driven, and professional in appearance and conduct.
· Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
