Job Description:
  
In this role you will support the effective running of front-of-house and guest logistics operations, working closely with teams and head office. You will help coordinate daily activities, uphold service standards and ensure a smooth, well-organized guest experience across all touchpoints.

  • Support and deputies for the Front Office Manager while overseeing reception, retail, wellness and transfer operations
  • Coordinate daily lodge communications, schedules, guest movements and accurate room allocations
  • Deliver a seamless guest journey through professional hosting, check-ins, check-outs and feedback handling
  • Act as the key liaison between the lodge, central reservations and operational managers
  • Manage airstrip activity, flight logistics and all road transfer planning, including external suppliers when required
  • Assist with financial controls, reporting, banking, billing accuracy and revenue tracking
  • Lead, train and roster front-of-house teams, ensuring systems, standards and procedures are maintained
  • Maintain records, compliance, supplies and operational forecasts to support smooth lodge performance

Experience Required:  

  • Oversee daily lodge operations including Front Office, Safari Shop, Massage services, and Transfers, deputizing for the Front Office Manager as needed
  • Ensure smooth communication across all departments, with guests, manage emails, radios, and WhatsApp updates
  • Prepare and maintain accurate operational day sheets, room allocations, guest lists, and occupancy forecasts
  • Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs, billing, hosting, and agent inspections, ensuring a seamless guest experience
  • Support financial and administrative tasks, including weekly banking, massage revenue reports, cost analysis, and monthly reporting
  • Manage staff rostering, leave planning, training, and performance oversight for Front Office, Transfers, Safari Shop, and Massage teams
  • Coordinate transfer bookings, vehicle permits, supplier communication, and logistics for guests and drivers
  • Monitor and address guest feedback, investigate incidents, and escalate operational or financial concerns appropriately
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and lodge resources including stationery, revenue spreadsheets, and airstrip operations
  • Apply hospitality expertise, leadership, and organizational skills to ensure high standards of service and efficient lodge management
