Robertson Winery (Pty) Ltd., has an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to join their team based in Robertson as Combi Bloc Technician/Millwright.

The successful candidate has well-developed technical and mechanical skills, paired with strong problem-solving, analytical & logical thinking capabilities.

This role will take take overall responsibility for the effective output of the Combi Bloc bottling line, including all relevant maintenance and productivity of staff on the production line, ensuring minimum downtime.

Responsibilities will include: *Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food safety policies & procedures *Effective management of staff *Ensure all required inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance, or troubleshooting is done *Preparing technical reports *Recordkeeping *Supporting staff regarding technical problems and machine best operating practices *Ordering of spare parts when required and according to company policies *Installation of modifications when required *all other tasks related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

  • A relevant Trade Qualification;
  • 5 years’ relevant technical experience in a similar role, including productivity- and staff management;
  • Experience in the FMCG/Food/Bottling industry highly preferred;
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of how related items work, as well as how to use different tools (e.g. Pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, electromechanics, automation, instrumentation, controls, and tools);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English;
  • Advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office).
