I am a dedicated, motivated, and hardworking young lady currently seeking a permanent position in a tasting room or any other role within the wine industry.
I have studied Tourism and successfully completed my Cape Wine Academy, and I have gained extensive hands-on experience working at various wine farms.
Through these roles, I have developed strong product knowledge, customer service excellence, and a deep passion for wine and hospitality.
My experience and skills include:
Conducting wine tastings and educating guests
Wine sales, marketing wine, and actively pushing sales
Stock take and inventory control
Cash-ups and daily financial procedures
First point of contact: guest check-ins and check-outs
Ordering merchandise from outside suppliers
Floor management (Front of House operations)
Working with international companies exporting wine (including Capreo, Cellar X, and others)
Systems & Technical Skills:
POS systems: Gaap, Lightspeed, Symphony
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Xero
Strong administrative and organizational skills
