Vacancy: Stock Officer - Final Stores

Breede River Valley Bottling (BBK) specializes in the bottling and packaging of wine and other beverages and currently has an exciting opportunity for a
Stock Officer in our Final Stores, available to form part of its dynamic team.

Reporting to the Manager: Final Stores, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Stacking of product and ensuring alignment with statutory requirements.
• Loading and offloading of pallets.
• Ensuring that loads are securely packed.
• Performing equipment check and basic maintenance on Forklift.
• Movement and transfer of pallets in the warehouse as well as containers.
• Responsible for stock control and related administration.

Successful candidates need to align to the following requirements:

• Grade 12
• Forklift License essential
• At least 1 years’ experience in a Production/Warehouse environment and in a similar role
• Basic HACCP knowledge
• Attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Agility and able to multitask
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules
