Simonsig Wines seeks to appoint a Quality Intern. The Quality intern will help and assist with quality control processes within the cellar. The candidate will work closely with and under the direction of the Quality Officer and Lab manager as well as the Quality controller.
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Assist with quality control of processing conditions within cellar
- Assist with quality control inspections of dry goods
- Assist with quality documentation: control sheets, specification sheets etc.
- Assist with quality control checks on production lines
- Report any deviations/non conformances
- Basic administration duties and Ad hoc
- Participation in Food safety, GMP, GLP requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma/degree/certificate in Quality, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology or any other relevant field will be advantageous.
- Students required to finish their work integrated learning component will also be considered.
- Recent graduates wanting to gain experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Own transport required
- No criminal record
- Working hours are from Monday to Thursday from 07h00 - 17h00 and Friday, from 07h00 - 16h00.
