Casual Waiter & Wine Ambassador – Wine Farm Restaurant

We are seeking enthusiastic, service-driven individuals to join our restaurant team on a wine farm set in the Helderberg Mountains. This role suits someone who enjoys hospitality, has a passion for food and wine, and takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences.

Position: Casual Waiter & Wine Ambassador
Location: Helderberg Mountains, Western Cape
Type: Casual / Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional table service to guests

• Present menus and explain dishes clearly and confidently

• Guide guests through wine selections and pairings

• Conduct wine introductions or tastings when required

• Ensure tables and service areas are prepared and maintained to a high standard

• Work closely with kitchen and cellar teams to ensure smooth service

• Uphold the farm’s brand, values, and service standards

Requirements

• Previous waiting or hospitality experience preferred

• Interest in wine and willingness to learn more about viticulture and winemaking

• Confident communicator with a friendly, polished manner

• Ability to work weekends and public holidays

• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
