Our client a producer, packer, and exporter of premium citrus based in the Citrusdal Valley is looking for a detailed-oriented Commercial Assistant to join their marketing team.
he ideal candidate is highly organised, analytical, and collaborative — providing vital support to the commercial and logistics teams that drive our international citrus business.
This position is ideal for an individual passionate about agriculture, exports, and commercial operations who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and values teamwork, precision, and continuous learning.
Relevant tertiary qualification with minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar commercial, logistics, or export administration role — ideally within the fresh produce, agriculture, or export industry.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Assist account managers in customer relations and reporting
Customer communication regarding shipments and program deliveries
Assist with shipping claims
Administrative support for 3rd party fruit procurement process
General support for commercial operations team when required
