Expert and highly rated wine advisor seeks employment

My name is Francois Koegelenberg and I am currently doing marketing at a transport company my true passion is the wine industry and customer service as you will read about soonest. I would like to introduce myself I decided to rather list my achievements, of which I am extremely proud of.

• I have won 5 incentive trips overseas for selling the most wine, whiskey and beer. Twice to France (wine) including Paris, Burgundy, Bordeaux with 5 days visits to Vinexpo.
• Once to the Oktoberfest in Munich in Germany (Beer) and once to Mauritius (Beer).
• A trip to Australia and New Zealand sponsored by Famous Grouse Whisky to watch the Springboks playing these two nations.

In Tygervalley I ran the first ran the Flagship of PicardiRebel and then the Morgan’s Wine and Cheese Shop and we managed to win the coveted Western Cape Small Retailer of the Year (Sponsored by Cape Talk Radio and Nedbank, respectively.)

In my 12-year tenure my shops won the Golden Trolley Award for the best shop out of 243, continuously. Voted by so called “Secret Shoppers”.

From 2015 to 2021 I was employed by Boschendal where I did specialized tastings including The Historical Tour/ Tasting and the Food and Wine pairing in the famous Manor House. I am glad to tell you that I only received a lot of 5 stars reviews on Trip Advisor and sales averaging R203 000 a month with an average of 1000 dockets a month.
