Historic Wines of the Cape is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at our Montague Gardens warehouse.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following
* manage day-to-day warehouse operations * stock control and ensuring proper record keeping is in place *ensuring proper processes and procedures are followed * monitor warehouse systems, documentation, and reporting * maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping * staff management * coordinate with logistics, sales, and suppliers to ensure efficient order fulfilment * minimise losses, damages, and discrepancies *liaison with clients
The following criteria apply
*5 year’s experience in a similar role * strong knowledge of warehouse processes, stock control, and logistics * experience managing and leading a team * excellent communication skills (English and Afrikaans) * excellent computer literacy (MS Excel required) * experience in the wine, FMCG, or beverage industry will be an advantage
