Our esteemed client, an upmarket Wine Estate in the Franschhoek region, is seeking a Qualified Financial Accountant to join a dynamic Finance team.

Job Overview:

This position will be mostly responsible for the Wine Division’s Accounting focus.

As Accountant, you will work closely with the financial manager to support the financial aspects of the organisation. You will strategize, maintain detailed business records and prepare for audits. Additionally, you will ensure the entities remain compliant with

current laws, regulations and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Formal Financial Qualification preferred

• Previous experience in the wine industry will be beneficial

• 3 – 5 years in a similar position

• Solid understanding of IFRS

• Solid understanding of WineMS beneficial

• Experience in Sage Intacct will be an advantage

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Good organisational and time management skills

• An aptitude for problem solving

Key Responsibilities:

• Debtors

• Creditors

• Bank processing and reconciliations

• Handling of petty cash

• Stock
