Le Lude Estate, a 5-star boutique winery known for its Cap Classique, seeks an experienced Senior Tasting Ambassador to lead tastings, drive sales, and mentor the team.
Key duties
• Lead engaging tastings for walk-ins, private and VIP guests.
• Train and supervise tasting-room staff; maintain service standards.
• Drive direct-to-consumer sales, cuvée club memberships and merchandising.
• Manage guest data/CRM, POS transactions and basic reporting.
• Oversee tasting-room stock, packaging and order dispatch when needed.
• Support events and represent the estate externally.
• Keep the tasting room professional and ensure H&S compliance.
Requirements
• 3–5+ years in a premium tasting room or hospitality sales role; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven DTC sales ability; strong customer-service skills.
• Wine knowledge (WSET/sommelier qualifications a plus).
• Comfortable with POS/CRM systems and basic admin.
• Physically able to lift stock and work on your feet.
• Flexible availability including weekends.
• Resident in or near Franschhoek.
