Assistant Guest House Manager - Franschhoek

We are looking for a young, energetic new member to join our dynamic front of house staff at Lynx Collection (www.lynx-collection.com)

We require someone to assist our Guest House team with the required reservations management & guest relations.

Inherent Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management
• Worked at least one year in a similar Guest House
• Certificate in First Aid/Fire Fighting/Health and Safety, would be advantageous
• Background in Front Office and Reservations
• Background in Restaurant would be advantageous
• Covid-19 vaccination mandatory
• Valid Drivers License
• Fluent in English

Experience and skills:

• The ability to remain calm and professional when under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Must be professional and a team player
• Sustainable quality and attention to detail

Main Responsibilities:

• Reservations
• Yield management
• Restaurant Supervision
• Guests check-in and check-out
• Cash-up
• Guest feedback reporting (TripAdvisor, E-mails, etc.)
• Concierge services (Booking of restaurants, transport, etc.)
• Follow and enforce all Health and Safety processes and procedures whilst maintaining the privacy of all guests
