Van Loveren Group is seeking dynamic and driven Brand Ambassadors to join our Sales team as a permanent employees. This role focuses primarily on the on-consumption market (restaurants, hotels, and bars), with selected off-consumption accounts (Wholesale, retail and wine stores).
The successful candidates will be responsible for driving sales growth, achieving monthly targets, building strong customer relationships, and expanding brand presence within a designated territory. These positions is for the South Coast region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of on- and off-consumption accounts;
- Achieve monthly volume and value sales targets;
- Prospect and secure new business opportunities;
- Conduct professional portfolio presentations, tastings, and basic staff/ waiter training;
- Execute merchandising standards and promotional activities;
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity;
- Ensure accurate reporting and CRM administration;
Minimum Qualifications and Skills requirements:
- Grade 12 (tertiary qualification and formal wine education beneficial);
- Minimum 2 years’ sales experience (wine, spirits, or FMCG preferred);
- Strong knowledge of wine styles, regions, and food pairing;
- Willing to work after hours for training and events;
- Experience in the hospitality/on-trade environment advantageous;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;
- Highly organised with strong follow-up and time management skills
- Self-motivated and proactive - someone who thrives in an independent role
- Valid driver’s license
