A world-class 5-star wine estate in Stellenbosch is seeking a talented Demi Chef de Partie to join its exceptional culinary team. This role is suited to a passionate chef with strong fine dining experience who takes pride in precision, presentation, and delivering cuisine of the highest standard.

Working in a refined, high-performance kitchen, the successful candidate will assist the senior chefs in preparing and presenting dishes that reflect the estate’s commitment to luxury hospitality and culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present dishes according to the Head Chef’s specifications
  • Ensure mise-en-place is prepared to the highest standards
  • Maintain strict health, hygiene, and food safety practices
  • Ensure dishes are correctly portioned, garnished, and presented
  • Maintain a clean, organised section at all times
  • Contribute to a professional and collaborative kitchen environment

Requirements

  • Culinary Diploma or Professional Cookery qualification
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a high-end or fine dining kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for quality ingredients and presentation
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Comfortable working within a luxury hospitality environment serving discerning international guests
