Babylonstoren has an exciting new position for a cellar assistant to join the cellar team.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12
- 2–3 years’ relevant experience in a cellar environment
- Valid forklift licence will be to your advantage
- SKOP 1, 2 and 3 will be to your advantage
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the winemaking process
- Willingness to work overtime, night shift and over weekends when operationally required
Duties
- Wine cellar activities
- General cellar work
- Health & safety and housekeeping according to audit compliance
- Assisting with bottling and labelling
