A well-established, wine and hospitality business located in the Stellenbosch wine region is looking to appoint a professional and detail-oriented Office Assistant to provide maternity cover within our administrative team.
This is a fixed-term (4,5 months) contract position suited to a candidate who is organised, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a half day position, from 08:00 to 14:00, Mondays to Fridays.
Our business operates within the wine production and hospitality sector, supplying both trade and private clients while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Processing invoices and general invoicing duties

Coordinating and arranging deliveries to trade and private customers

Data capturing and maintaining accurate records
-
General filing and administrative support
-
Ordering office supplies, stationery, and cleaning materials

Assisting with the completion of tender documents

Reception duties including answering calls and assisting visitors

General office support as required
Minimum Requirements:
-
Previous administrative experience (essential)
-
Strong organisational and time management skills
-
Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Computer literacy (MS Office – especially Excel and Outlook)

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Professional and friendly manner
- Own transport
