Temporary Tasting Room Assistant | Worcester Tasting Room

We're looking for a enthusiastic and a reliable temporary Tasting Room Temporary Assistant to join our team on an adhoc basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the wine industry, work in a beautiful setting, and be part of a dynamic, welcoming team. As a Tasting Room Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day operations across our tasting rooms, helping create memorable experiences for every guest. The position is located at the Van Loveren Winery at the Worcester Tasting Room situated on the R60.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and upselling of wines and merchandise to customers;
• Hosting, preparing and presenting the tastings to clients;
• Assist with the events and special functions in the Tasting Room;
• General housekeeping & cleaning tasks in the Tasting Room;

 Minimum Qualifications and Skills requirements:

• Grade 12;
• Bilingual in both Afrikaans and English;
• Basic wine knowledge and experience (advantageous);
• Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills – with guests, management, and colleagues;
• Well-groomed and presentable;
• Reliable and dependable;
• Effective and dedicated team player;
• Preferably your own reliable transport
