My Client is a known player in the world of fresh produce supply based in Israel. Based on long-term relationships with both suppliers and customers, they have  a worldwide supply base, enabling the company to offer year round wide variety of products to its customers around the globe.

They are currently recruiting for an EXPORT SALES MANAGER

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling of fresh fruits in international markets – focusing on FE, ME & Africa, but not only.
  • Managing and developing customer relations.Driving weekly sales and obtaining seasonal programs.
  • Representing the company towards the customers as the key contact person.
  • Developing new markets and directions.
  • Understanding the different market trends, and the potential for the company's products.
  • Managing and resolving claims settlements.

Experience Required:

  • 2-3 years min. of experience in the Fresh Fruits selling, and especially of RSA products.
  • Active customer base in the target markets.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the fruit industry, seasonality, markets preference etc.
  • Negotiation skills. Able to close short terms deals as well as seasonal programs, prices settings etc.
  • Knowledge of export processes, regulations and Inco terms.
  • Ability to work independently from home as well as ability to visit customers abroad, as per the job's needs.
  • Fluent English.
  •  Sourcing/procurement experience in the fruit sector within RSA – an advantage.
