A luxury restaurant in Stellenbosch is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in leading daily kitchen operations and maintaining exceptional culinary standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
• Oversee food quality, presentation and consistency
• Train and mentor junior chefs
• Manage stock, ordering, FIFO and waste control
• Assist with menu development
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene compliance
• Manage staff and leave rosters

REQUIREMENTS
• Culinary Diploma
• ±4 years’ senior chef experience
• Own transport and valid driver’s licence
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent communication ability
• Available evenings, weekends and public holidays
