Simonsig Wines is a respected, family-owned wine farm with a long-standing reputation for quality, innovation, and excellence, including its pioneering role in Cap Classique.
We are seeking to appoint a Brand & Marketing Manager to take responsibility for the strategic and commercial development of our brand portfolio.
Purpose of the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening brand positioning while ensuring that all marketing initiatives translate into measurable performance in market. This role requires a disciplined balance between brand building and commercial delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement brand strategies across the portfolio.
- Ensure consistent, premium execution across all brand touchpoints.
- Partner with sales teams to drive effective trade marketing and sell-through.
- Lead digital marketing and content development.
- Conceptualise and deliver high-quality brand experiences and events.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a brand or marketing role.
- Strong understanding of the South African wine trade (essential).
- Demonstrated ability to balance creativity with commercial acumen.
- Strong project management and execution capability.
- Wine knowledge (WSET or equivalent) will be advantageous.
