A Wine Farm in the Franschhoek area seeks to employ an excellent candidate to take up the position of Restaurant & Tasting Room Manager
We are looking for an honest, hardworking and reliable candidate with strong interpersonal skills, to be appointed in the above mentioned position.
Duties include :
- Management of the tasting room and restaurant area and personnel
- Tasting / Restaurant Sales and administration
- Stock Control
- Liaising with guests
- Management of reservations
Requirements :
- Previous work experience in a restaurant and tasting room environment ( 2-3 years experience) - Experience in restaurant floor management
- A sound knowledge of wine, Preliminary Cape Wine Academy Courses is compulsory, or similar wine courses
- Strong administration skills
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in both English & Afrikaans ( 3rd language beneficial )
- Computer literate – Excel , Pos Systems
- Must be willing to work weekends and have own transport
Start Date: May/June 2026
Salary: Market Related
