The Opportunity
We're seeking a passionate and service-driven Wine Host / Waiter to join our dynamic Hospitality team on a permanent basis. This role is key to delivering exceptional guest experiences across our Tasting Room and Restaurant, while actively contributing to sales and upholding Warwick’s high standards of service excellence.
What You'll Do

Deliver a welcoming, knowledgeable, and memorable guest experience in the Tasting Room and Restaurant.

Guide guests through wine tastings, menu offerings, and product selections.

Maintain exceptional service standards from guest arrival to departure.

Anticipate guest needs to respond promptly to requests or concerns.

Handle guest feedback professionally and in a solution-oriented manner.

Prepare and maintain operational areas, including set-up and end-of-day duties.

Drive sales of wine, food, and wine club memberships through effective engagement and upselling.

Support promotional campaigns and sales initiatives within the Hospitality department.

Assist with stock management, inventory control, and general operational support.

Contribute to events, private tastings, and group bookings, as required.
Who You Are & What You’ll Need

Grade 10 or equivalent.

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the wine and/or hospitality industry.

Formal wine education (e.g. WSET or Cape Wine Academy) will be advantageous.

Strong understanding of the hospitality industry.

Sales-driven with the ability to engage guests and drive revenue.

Passion for wine and the hospitality industry.

Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.

Positive, energetic, and professional demeanour.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Always maintains professional and responsible conduct.

Own reliable transport, if not residing in the Klapmuts area.
