Tasting Room Ambassador

We are looking for an engaging and knowledgeable Tasting Room Ambassador to join a prestigious wine estate in Constantia. This role is perfectly suited to someone who is passionate about wine, and delivering exceptional, personalised guest experiences.

As the face of the brand, you will introduce guests to the estate’s wines, history, and philosophy — ensuring every visit is memorable, informative, and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

• Host wine tastings and guide guests through the estate’s wine portfolio

• Share the story, heritage, and unique attributes of the wines and property

• Deliver a warm, professional, and personalised guest experience

• Drive wine sales and promote brand loyalty

• Maintain presentation standards within the tasting area

• Assist with daily operational tasks including stock and setup

• Support events, private tastings, and special guest experiences

Requirements

• Previous experience in a tasting room, hospitality, or customer-facing role

• Passion for wine and the ability to communicate it with enthusiasm

• WSET or similar wine qualification (advantageous)

• Excellent interpersonal and storytelling skills

• Well-presented, articulate, and confident
