Overview A luxury private game reserve in the Western Cape is seeking a dynamic and experienced couple to join their team. This is a hands-on position where one partner will focus on field guiding, maintenance, and operational support, while the other will oversee reservations, administration, and management assistance.
This role requires a high level of professionalism, flexibility, and a genuine passion for hospitality, conservation, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Position 1: Field Guide & Maintenance Support

Key Responsibilities
Field Guiding & Guest Experience
•Conduct guided game drives and nature walks (where qualified)
•Interpret wildlife, ecology, and conservation to guests
•Ensure guest safety at all times
•Deliver personalised and memorable guest experiences
•General maintenance of lodge infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment
•Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks
•Maintain reserve roads, signage, and surrounding areas
•Assist with reserve and environmental management where required
•Assist with guest and staff transfers
•Support lodge operations during peak periods
•Work closely with management to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements
•FGASA qualification (Level 1 minimum preferred)
•Valid driver’s licence and PDP
•Strong practical maintenance skills
•Excellent communication and guest engagement ability
•Physically fit and adaptable to flexible hours
•Previous lodge or reserve experience essential

Position 2: Reservations, Administration & Management Assistant

Key Responsibilities
Reservations & Guest Communication
•Manage reservations, enquiries, and booking confirmations
•Handle booking systems, rates, and availability
•Communicate with guests pre- and post-stay
•Liaise with travel agents and tour operators
•Assist with guest hosting when required
•General administrative duties and record keeping
•Assist with invoicing, payments, and financial administration
•Compile reports for management
•Maintain accurate guest and operational records
•Assist with daily lodge operations
•Coordinate staff schedules and logistics
•Support check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests
•Uphold brand standards and guest expectations

Requirements
•Previous experience in reservations and hospitality administration
•Experience with Nightsbridge or similar booking systems
•Strong computer literacy (email, booking systems, Excel/Google Workspace)
•Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
•Highly organised, detail-oriented, and professional
•Ability to work independently and under pressure
•Luxury hospitality experience preferred
